He was always disgusted about how blacks are portrayed in Hollywood, he made two short films during the 60s and then Hollywood could do no better than offer him a job as elevator operator and dancer. Few people know he was long ago a noted author and novelist and a forunner of rap even before Gil Scott Heron.
